1..Our First Post

We started mid morning to get our stuff out to the boat. The boat club didn’t open till noon, but it was so hot I went up and asked if I could just sit in the cool, the lady let me in but was a little abrupt thinking I’d be bugging her for things (she admitted to keith the next day). But I kept to myself just watching the other two come in and out to the boat. Just before lunch started we went shopping and it took us so long when we got back lunch had finished. So again I sat in the cool while the boys took the groceries to the boat. I stayed ashore knowing it would be difficult for me to get on the boat until keith can get something hooked up. So just before they served dinner we were away.
It was not pretty getting into the dinghy. It was just as not pretty getting out of it and on board the boat…Then there are the steps into the bloody thing… lol
But I’m here .. hopefully at the next port we can sit up at the dock and I can get off .. easier..

So it was quite hot and we had the air con going.. did I forget to mention we have AIR CON .. its great .. but we have to run the generator for it ..

and the bed !!!!!
It is soooooo friggin high …keith had to set up a sort of step for me to get on and off on my own ….lol … its different… and the seating , I just can’t put my feet on the floor … they are too short I have them leaning on a water container at the moment lol …
Which brings up to dinner last night … egg and cheese sandwiches.. but as we were sooooooo starving they were the absolutely best we’ve had..
All of us were pretty stuffed, keith and graham from all the running around and well me from all the worry and crap a woman goes through .. and the things I’d hear about , this need a bit of work but it was doable ..
So our first night in the boat was not too bad after I got on the bed ..
