4..Boat Date 19/10/2020

the boat was going to be scrubbed by some other guy and his 3 boys all teens and well graham got out of it by finding a water ski type thing and was paddling around ... he did put some sun screen on but only a little bit .. and this is where all my things go wrong ... because of this sunburn ... but they scraped the hull and well most of it before the tide started to come back in ... and so we left it right where we were as there was a little more to be done the next day ... and so over night on the low tide she sat straight up as she is here in the pic ...the next day the boys went for a drive to the store to get some more stuff to fix things as the generator had packed it in ..well what an morning / afternoon i had ... i got up and then later went to have a snooze got up again and while sitting in the galley heard a weird noise a snap of sorts and the boat tilted to the port side ... i thought uhoh this cant be good , and then heard another snap so i thought (as keith has said before ) if i was to get sick go lower the impact won't be so bad ... so i did into grahams bed .. it was leaning further to the port side ... then bang bang bang ... 3 more ,something rolled up there and it jumped left again ... and thankfully stopped ... i was on the left side in grahams bed ... see o the boat those little wingy things ... that stopped the boat from going any more ... 45 deg angle was quite enough ... i couldn't reach anyone .. i just had to sit and wait ...thank goodness the air con was still going with the portable generator in the dingy alongside.... and so i waited and prayed i didn't go any further... the boys turned the corner and saw the boat ( keith with his heart in his throat ) they all panicked a bit ... i was ok .. maybe another bruise or two ... graham made it into me first ... then keith asking if i was ok ... just about cried when i saw them both .. keith took advantage of the situation and scrapped what they didn't get to the day before ... the tide came in and the boat righted itself ... not wanting to go through that again we moved ... only to have it happen only half as bad ... the wing caught a rock... the night before we found a first aid kit with some paraderm plus in it ... so it put that on grahams sunburn ... the next day i was itching ...
