6..Hospital date 22/10/2020

hospital.. stay .. i think the day is thursday ... unsure ... graham and keith have come to see me and also go into town to look around and get some stuff ... a fridge is one thing that we need aparently ... the other packed a sad ... they bring me some nighties ... the puffiness was still there the day after being admitted , was that just earlier or yesterday.. so they don't really believe me that its the chlorhexadine that i'm alergic to but i've checked it up on the internet .. and i have all the symptoms as they list them .. and also the aloe vera one that is different but still can be bad if i use too much of it ... so i think the next day we realise the nurses all pump chlorhexadine on their hands each time they come into and out of our rooms ... so for me they are now going to wear gloves as it got worse for a while there ... keith and graham visited and bought my wheel chair in for me to zip to the loo on my own .. the nurses have an electric wheel chair but its at the back of the chair the controls so they have to do it i can't on my own ... so while hubby is there i ask for him to help me shower since i have the right shoulder pain and the left arm from when i fell through the doorway and caught myself... so the nurses get us some pump stuff and graham checks ... yup aloe vera ... so we don't use that .. we opt for the hand wash thats on the walls everywhere and he gives me a really good wash all over and even does my hair in the stuff.. ohhh the shower is heaven untill i start to itch horribly .... and start getting a different rash ... i say to hubby , if i didn't know better i'd say i've been using aloe vera ... same rash as that .... because of NOT washing my hands straight after applying the stuff to grahams sunburn with the chlorhexadine..... when i got to the hospital i washed my hands in the soap stuff on the wall all the more vigorously... so when i started to itch differently i got graham to look at the ingredients in the soap stuff on the walls ... and in fine print ... aloe vera powder ... probably at its most concentrated .... arrrrrggghhhhh ..... its like they , were fighting for supremacy the chlor or the aloe ... .. but while i was getting much better , parts were still coming up ... things were up in the air , with our boxes we sent from home... with all sorts of stuff in there like clothes .. the drs had been thinking of sending me off to darwin but decicded not to since they wouldn't be doing anything differently ... and keith had a bloke coming over from darwin to help us with the boat and teach us a little about it all on the trip from Gove to Darwin... he was arriving saturday and if the boxes arrived on time i'd have to go too .. to save you all the mess and a few lines of type ...lol .... the boxes arrived monday and keith finished packing things away and fixing the boat up ... did some major cleaning out of the engine and such things ... very yuck and told the quacks we needed me outta there on tuesday ... and so tuesday i was out .... aaaahhh fresh air ...
