25.. Washing Machine Sea

all the maps say its supposed to be good here with little waves just a bit windy ..
Not so now what is today Friday 11th dec. 2 in the arvo ..
Hubby has just arrived in from the wheel house and things are plodding along he can’t go too fast in these waves or they toss us around down here too much ..
This morning he put the fishing line out the back as its not part of the marine park, and we got a fish …woohoo first one in a while when moving.. it is huge … I’ve taken pics and will put them up with this update .. an extra large something or other .. names tossed around were , dunno but nice eatin … lol .. a king snapper but dad says they never usually come to the surface… hubby thinks it’s a trevally but not sure different markings … so he a it anyway and we have 16 meals for us .. and 1 bait bag …
That’s all we need right .. only need to get fuel now in Geraldton .. and our fuel card ..

I am in two minds, I certainly want to be with libby when she gives birth… because of covid 19 thing, I can’t be in there with her … and if I want to pic up baby within the first 6 weeks I need to get a booster shot of all the normal kids shots …till he has them himself ..

After the birth her MIL has offered her house for libby for the first week to get all settled in with bubs (after she gets out of hospital)
So not sure what libby will do … but what ever she does will impact all the way along …she is not sure what she wants to do at the moment … I would love to do that for my girl but I just can’t .. I come with such an entrouge … and where would I stay as libbys spare room is taken with jamey’s cars …
So me going there is outta the question … and quite franky there is plenty of time .. also I do want to be with Kenny for Christmas … and here again In two minds … why not have Christmas on the boat , kenny can just drive to where we are its not that far out of the question now with Geraldton only 4 hrs north of perth .. two more hours for him from home .. or just keep plodding along …

We are in shark bay at the moment , with monkey mia on one side of an island and on the other is Denham. Neither of them very big but they are both have their special things for the tourists … so wouldn’t mind exploring that a bit … prob see a heap of boats around tomorrow .. since it’s the weekend …we always seem to get to a port on the weekend..

Another thing happening … is insurance , finally found a place in spain that will insure us for 3rd party property only so that should be coming through later today or this evening … and so we (shouldn’t) have any problems berthing at Geraldton… mark my words… lol … at Carnarvon we were only allowed in there to dock for 2 hours while we got some groceries… and (naughty us) got some fast food chicken for dinner … oh oh oh …how do they make it sooooooooooo yummy ..
Maybe I did like it in Exmouth where they had NOOOO shops like that at all … but no Harvey norman either … or spot light , oh my how do they cope poor exmouthians … lol
