26.. Boat life

Ah boat life .. I’m sure will be not so boring, once we have all our stuff around us and things as we would like them, way more storage for one ..
The last few days have been a bit here and there in the washing machine.. we got some tough stuff and some much calmer stuff with just the swell being big today but much longer inbetween hence making it seem smoother but a bit of wind making it a little choppy… of course as I find out much later such is the manner of our coastline and its got reefs and such all the way along here..

I found one very informative site and thought I had it downloaded … but nah huh when I went to look off line it was gone … I think I know where it was… I did a bit of sewing today .. yay me …played a bit of pokemon on the switch, while listening to graham repeat the Gilmore girls for the millionth time.. I’m sure he could tell you off by heart which episode does what …
The boss has just popped his head in for a cuppa and the report is that there are reefs all along this part of the coast and no where to duck in to get out of the waves…. Swell has gone down but now all choppy waves… bouncing us around a bit …

the next day ..

I’ve not long got out of bed…the engines have been going since about 7am.. when keith gets sick of bed and the morning looks good so we are off again… found an awesome little spot to park up for the night … watched a movie and had a couple beers ..
Nice n relaxing after a day of nasty waves .. today is much calmer up there he tells me …
So up top of this bit of land we sheltered in was marine park so we couldn’t fish in there … bumma …that too is very relaxing after bouncing in the washing machine all day ..
So back to today and I’ve just got up when the door opens and there is a fish filling it …lol .. a dog fish tuna …. As soon as we cross over the marine park to open waters keith puts out his line and like 30 seconds later the line is flappin with the fish on it … bloody hell … then mere minutes later … another fish fills the door way …another dog fish …

The song stuck in my head since buying the boat and seeing our first water sunset … arabian nights …. Gggrrrrr

So dinner last night was the fish we got yesterday … the super big trevally… and wow it was soooooo nice …
