31.. Getting Closer

Well I’ve not sat and typed for a couple days been chatting and playing games elsewhere.. and fishing and stuff , like enjoying myself …so we have been in and out of the big waves for a few days, since leaving Denham, calling into little spots here and there to get away from the bouncing up and down over the waves… today’s forecast is for better conditions as we move through the day.. so hopefully that will calm things down …all that people say about weather windows we look and plan and by the time that day get here its all changed again and back into the washing machine we go its quite the right pain in the ass but I guess I’m getting used to it somewhat… today we are calling into Lancelin our next little stop for the night… keith is eager to get home. As we all are and kenny wanting us home too … but the washing cycle gets old real quick and I like to have my nights asleep when I can in calm water .. then I’m prepared for the next day’s washing machine … the trip between Nhulunbuy and Darwin was a breeze.. not a single wave … beautiful , serene …glorious …
I was lulled into a false sense of security …
From our trip down to home I can see many things we should have looked into before setting off …lol but looking at others we thought we had it all sussed out .. not entirely.. but as mum used to say you can’t put an old head on young shoulders … you have to learn on your own even now as old as we are ..
There are lessons in life we need to learn … heavens knows what they are but when they come you’ll get your chance to learn it and move on, remember it and don’t do it again …lol or do it again but better…and with the internet , its been good to communicate with the kids..
