And so we hauled her out onto the hard ... well its just on the what ever they call it ... lol .. she has been sand blasted and cleaned with that top to bottom .. quite expensive.. actually it was just the top blue part that was done , as we'd already done the bottom part .. but some of it of course got onto the red , so we did another paint job on her and made it black for extra measure ..and the blue is a little (slightly) lighter blue then before .. and the rails will be painted white once she is in her pen..
there was nothing available in bunbury so we rang the next town down a marina that isn't run by the govt and they had a space for us at the Port Geographe Marina. but i'm skipping ahead ... this is her all clean and Keith asked the across the road neighbour if he would give a helping hand and his mate too ... so there was a couple to help scrub, sand, grind cut and paint ..
each day after their hard work keith would buy them a carton of beer for that day .. and they were very happy with that payment ..
we only had a limited time in the cradle thingy .. so every day they had to be doing work from dawn to dusk for my hubby and less for the others , they did as much as they possibly could ...
