Work continues on the water

Well the work has continued in between rain episodes .. it's been a couple weeks now that we have been back in the water tied up right next to the slip where the boats get hauled out for work to be done on them.. mainly cleaning the bottoms of them .. so that is interesting .. as you can see in the picture the blue paint on top of the wheelhouse has to be stripped right back and its not easy ... hubby and son have been hard at it and well son takes a bit of time off here and there and doesn't want to do it any more ... but ... we have to carry on ... and expose the rust holes too .. well when some of them were exposed keith didn't know what to put up there to prevent the rain coming through those holes ... and we were just on our way out to visit the family... when he came up with the brilliant idea of just covering them with tape ... clever fellow he is ... so that done we went out ... meanwhile we have had our covid jab ...i was non to happy about it ... but its been nearly a week and no side affects thank goodness ... keith neither ..it had to be done if we want to travel ..

i'm starting a couple of little projects , as well as sitting on deck occasionally and they are knitting me a hat as its getting colder and making myself a quilted, patchwork jacket ... hopefully .. as the wind coming off the sea is beastly cold ... lol .. we had a couple really cold nights and a couple really cold days ... but lately its been lovely warm days on deck of about 20 - 22c ....
