its all a buzz here
Well the weather has cleared up this past couple of days and i've taken advantage and gone up on deck to get some sun ... keith has been busy welding all the holes on the wheelhouse and grinding bits of steel off a plate so that he can weld the new bits in place ...
but the best part was yesterday seeing all the workers and tucks and a crane... the crane owner chatted to us to tell us a bit about what was happening ...
in the photo you see a tug and behind that is an rfs machine that collects wind data at certian heights to let the people know what its like just off shore ... to possibly put up wind mills out in the ocean ... very interesting stuff i searched it up on the net ....
two of them they bought in ...they are dismantling them and its easier for it to fit into a container that way to send overseas if they need to... i think ...
so the wheelhouse is nearly done just the painting to do now and a couple more sunny days we hope so we can get that done then the captain just needs to fit all his other things back in there for navigation and set up all his wires .... still loads to do ...
and i'm boat bound at the moment with the tides being so low .... and going down very fast ... as you know my stuffed knees only allow me to walk off ...not do a huge step up or down .... sigh ...but its ok ...i'm a home body anyway .....
