Albany

1st day in Albany, and my view from the deck. It's lovely if a bit windy.

We are planning a trip to town to pick up some milk and supplies, and just have a general look around. We decided to check out the restaurant really close to the marina called Due South.

We found our way to coles via hungry jacks for breaky. then keith n graham will be getting a cab back with all the groceries and i will go pick up our favourite wine from dan murphys. sigh or so i thought...lol

got to dan's in a very round about way, then when i got there to the cask wines they had NONE of our favourite wine arghhhhhhhh .. so i messaged my hunny to see what he wanted , we opted for coolabah but it is no where as good as berri ... i got me some bourbons ... so i was happy.

we got back and later went to dinner (earlier than normal since we didn't have lunch) and i am quite disapointed ... i ordered bangers and mash while keith ordered rump steak , and of course graham got ham and cheese pizza .. oh and two scotch eggs for entree..

entree came out last , and it was the nicest quite tasty ... the sausages were made in house (or so the menu said) and were very very bland, the steak was too chewy for keith so we swapped halfway. and the pizza while good for graham i thought it was very thin and not much ham ..

i'd looked up on line to see the menu but they need to upgrade it on the net , as the prices were good there but not at the restaurant , overpriced if you ask me ...

Steaks have been a disapointment compared to the beautiful and melt in your mouth steaks we got in Darwin ...
