New Year
Well it's been quite windy here in Albany, and new years eve was no exception.. I was sitting on deck awaiting our neighbours arrival and it got bloody cold. I got graham to get me a blanket but he came up with a couple little ones so I asked Kenny for one of his big blankets .. i was just chilled to the bone. but ... a few drinks later and the wind died down (thank goodness) we settled in to watch the fireworks ... lots of boats were going out of the harbour to get a better view but we just stayed put .. We could see them all from where we were anyway..
We watched the 9pm ones not really intending to stay up for the midnight ones but the conversation flowed as easily as the munchies and drinks .. we did see the midnight ones to a small extent as we were all well and truly slozzled by this time.. i don't think we even counted down or kissed at midnight ...lol all of a sudden the fireworks were going off again and then it was into bed , totally have no idea how i got down there lol ... Kenny helped us all to our quarters , even helped our neighbour to his boat ... but heck i was a great night ....
and so a very slozzled welcome to the year 2022..
