Last Weekend

For quite some months we have been trying to get a day out fishing, let alone a weekend .. either the weather has been against us , or kenny's work. Graham's work too has interferred .... sigh... so there have been days that were beautiful calm and i've been itching to go out there and fish ...

One day , we planned to go out for a fish ... we had a good wind day in the marina so we caught some live bait for the next day and hubby decided to chuck a line out with a live bait ... well we caught a banksia cod ... and was 6kg ... lol so we decided we didn't need to go fishing the next day we had caught a fish .... and it was gorgeous , fed the three of us for two feeds ....

so then last weekend comes along , and all fell into place ... i'll spare you the miss communications ...lol ... so anyway we set up on anchor and there were heaps of fish on the fish finder but none of those were hungry ... not for our bait anyway ... we caught 3 stingray all different types ... which i'd never seen before ...

but i did enjoy being on anchor , being slightly rocked to sleep ... and he anchor held really really well .. so i still enjoyed it ... and now *planning* next weekend out ...
