things we see in objects

some info yay

Since getting our boat we have been wanting to know her history, the last bloke didn't know much at all. we have searched the net for some information, but mainly have come up with nothing much.

till the other day.

We had just got back from Perth, dropping Graham off at the Airport. When we met this fellow who was passing through. I was outside the Abultion Block, he pointed me to the loos further along. " it's ok " i said " i have a key"...

So he asked me what boat i was on.. " Joyce M" i said.

" i know that boat well " he said

" with the mickey mouse ears" (the lights up the mast, he says looks like MM ears)

" oh i've gotta talk to you" i said, " but i'm bustin for the loo" .... lol

he was doing his laundry .. as they were heading off in the morning ..

We went out to my chair, so i could sit. With Keith there we spoke about where we got our boat from. He seemed surprised to know it was from the Northern Territory. So i told him about this blog and that he would see himself here.. but i jump ahead ..

So Scott started telling us about his mate (name i've forgotten) who owned her for years and that she was named for his mum. About a couple of accidents she has had and where she originated in Tassie. ( again i've forgotten) .. it was super quick conversation to remember it all..

so Scott Dunn, please email me at [email protected] .. so that you can tell me all the names and places and stuff again..

all again and maybe a contact with your friend. Thanks again Scott for talking to us initially, we look forward to chatting again.

will update again when we know more ... so excited... and what a chance encounter , amazing.
