settling in

(hoping to get the blog updated soon)

still thinking of a name for the caravan ...

so anyway we are settling in and making it our own ... it's taking time to sort lots of things out ... where to put our stuff and sorting out....

we have taken out two bunks ... and it really made that whole end open up ..

then Graham didn't like the foam mattress on the bed so keith went looking on market place and found one for free ... of course the day we arranged to pick it up , the blasted heavens opened up with tons of rain ... it looks like a brand new mattress .. wow we lucked out ... and it's orange ... lol his favourite colour...

but of course there was a glitch, its a little too big for the space ... but we will make do untill we can sort something out ..

and , yesterday we got our new cable for starlink and keith set about to setting it all up for the caravan ... boy oh boy , showers on and off all day ... one time i was seeing sunshine on the left side , while there was rain hitting the right side ... so very weirdd ...

back to our starlink....first off it was on then off then on and off so we went out for a while to let it sort itself without all our phones and stuff trying to hook in at once ...

we got back and one by one i got us all to set up our phones then the laptop and then the telly ... only the google nest is still not hooked in ... but that can wait ...

keith built a little walk way outside the door so that the ground doesn't get muddy right at the door , made out of pallets with some board and netting stuff on top ... still the dirt gets inside even though we have a mat on the inside ...

the owner of the lot is great and its nice to sit in his outdoor area in the sun occasionally .... the other tennant is pretty cool too ... so its going to be nice being here for a while , sorting out the things on the van that need doing before we get it rego'd and on the road ...

Graham is working and really enjoying it , which is good.

thought we had a truck all lined up to buy but we haven't heard from them in a few weeks so looks like we'll have to go looking elsewhere ... darn ... back to the beginning on that one i think ...

oh and the starlink speed test today was over 260 mbps ... lovin it !!
