Sooooooo . .. my request for aircon by summer .. did not pan out in the renovations going on .. so we had a few hot days this summer ... two especially hot ... one reaching 38c .. 100f ... and the only cool place was at the waterfront marina .. there is a cafe there that we used to frequent when on the Boat , called Haz Beanz ... with awesome coffee and very cold drinks and an assortment of sausage rolls , pies and the usual cakes and such ... very tiny place but very very popular ...
loads of people walk their dogs around the area and stop in for a coffee , us being one of them ..
we also have another place to sit in the shade of the enterainment centre , right next door and we let Bella off her lead and play ball with her there and she loves it .. we do too as its a wind tunnel ... while this day was hot there was another even hotter without the usual breeze .. it reached an unheard of 44deg c one day ... and we were back at the marina but there was little to no breeze that day ...we turned on the old air con a couple of times and it did still work but not as good as a new one would .. but next summer !!! we will have the new one in ... lol or be in Tasmania for the summer ...
